IMAGINE CANADA ETHICAL FUNDRAISING AND FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY CODE
Healthpartners/Partenairesanté, a coalition of 16 of Canada's most trusted health charities, provides employees with an opportunity to practice philanthropy at work. We respect a donor's right to choose the organization(s) they wish to support and encourage uncomplicated giving through workplace campaigns.
Healthpartners/Partenairesanté believes that transparency and accountability are essential to our success. With this in mind, we are pleased to inform you that as of July 2009, we are compliant with the Imagine Canada Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code.
The Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code lays out a set of standards for charitable organizations to use to manage and report their financial affairs responsibly. By adhering to these standards, we are complying with generally accepted practices for soliciting and managing donor contributions. This is important because you, our donors, are entitled to transparency and the greatest impact possible for your investment in us.
If you have any questions about our adherence to the Ethical Code or you would like to review our financial statements, please feel free to contact Healthpartners/Partenairesanté's Executive Director, Kathryn Ann Hill, khill@healthpartners.ca, or telephone 613-562-1469.
The Ethical Code can also be downloaded at www.imaginecanada.ca
