Healthpartners & Fundraising within the GCWCC

Healthpartners fundraising costs as a percentage of total revenue from the GCWCC are as follows:

• 6% for Healthpartners operational expenses for the management of our national organization, and,
• 7% fees charged to Healthpartners by the National GCWCC Manager (United Way/Centraide Ottawa) for campaign management.

All charitable organizations have fundraising expenses, and Healthpartners strives to reduce costs, wherever possible. Healthpartners is pleased to report costs well-below the national average fundraising cost of 26%, according to the 1996 Canadian Centre for Philanthropy Survey of charities.
